Over the weekend beginning August 26th, Baron was the guest of the Lawrence Arts Center. His lecture was sold out, the panel discussion on photojournalism was sold out, and he signed and sold out of the books he brought along. Steven Hertzog of the Kern Group sent this report: “Baron’s “TALK” sold out the Lawrence Arts Center auditorium with a standing room only audience of over 300 people. Due to fire regulations people were turned away. However, it did not stop people from waiting the 90 minute “TALK” to stand in line for an additional 30 minutes to meet Baron and have their new books signed by him… books were sold out within a 48 hour period.”
